Although I haven't spend a great amount of time at Therapeutic Experiences, I've enjoyed all of the time I have spent out there. The people have great, welcoming personalities, and the horses are all great to be around. The overall atmosphere of the place is wonderful. I would recommend Therapeutic Experiences to people of all ages. You can tell everyone there is all about having a good time while creating great memories. Definitely can't wait to make it out there again.

From the short time I have gotten to spend with Therapeutic Experiences, I've enjoyed every minute. Kim and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We all laughed, had fun, and felt safe and relaxed the whole day through. Thank you and I cant wait to go again!

This company is true to thier mission. Growth and leadership were fascilitated through Kim and the horses. I heard giggles from a student that rarely smiles, I saw a leader emerge from the quiet girl in the back of the room, and bonds form between students that have been in the same room all year, and never really connected. I highly recommend this experience!

My students were glowing after our day with the horses, Ron and Kim. Their hearts and minds were alive with their personal and collective experience on the ranch. The connections were strong, palpable. As an educator I could immediately see the social, personal, and academic benefits this program offers all of us who experience this journey, either as a one day affair or an ongoing opportunity. I was so impressed that I went back to school and wrote a grant to integrate equine assisted learning on a more regular basis so my students could become more empowered and mindful as learners and human beings. Thank you Kim and Ron and all of the divine four legged teachers!

As we pulled into your driveway "Alex" hesitantly announced he was afraid of horses and probably would not be participating. Ron developed an immediate rapport with him, helping him understand his fear was normal and a good thing. If I’m remembering, "Alex" rode that session. And by the last session, he was comfortable to be alone in the big pen with all the horses, particularly pesky, loveable Bob.I also think of “Peter” with astonishment. An 11 year-old with horrible problems, substance abuse included. His brightness, gentleness and patience really showed themselves in the arena and especially in his work with Apache. All I can say is WOW. You challenged the kids, gave them tools to use in their often difficult school and home lives, and, in some phenomenal way, gave them hope. Those memories are priceless for me, and I can only imagine their significance in their lives. Thanks so much for offering this program. We’re meeting to discuss writing a grant to allow us to do the work throughout the year.

Ron Tyner and Kim Hardesty facilitated experiential activities using horses during our 5 day camp for youth in the Ignacio area. The program was custom catered to fit our needs and the success of the event was evident in the shining faces of all the young people. Conquering fears, stretching comfort zone, group problem solving, and bonding with the horses were just a few of the outcome-experiences reflected upon by the youth. Ron and Kim were a pleasure to work with and we will definitely be incorporating Therapeutic Experiences into future programs sponsored by SUCAP Youth Services!

As a high energy person, it takes a lot to slow me down. Not to mention, I am not the "outdoorsy" type so working with horses is not "normal" for me. Yet, with all this said, what an amazing experience. This experience not only took me out of my element but it also naturally slowed me down. It was positive, relaxing and an easy way to be reflective in how I live my everyday life. It proved to be a very worthwhile team building time because we had to rely on our peers and work together to find success.
