What a great welcoming place. Good bar vibes - it is a "locals" type of place. The food is one of the better bar food places in the South West with a super bison burger. Plus the owner and staff do a great job with local charities and fund raisers. Lost Dog is my go to bar in Durango.

Won't go Back

I went to Lost Dog over the Snowdown weekend and was pretty upset by what happened. The bartender spilled our beers all over me and my cell phone and then acted like nothing even happened. I was soaked in beer, he barely wiped off my phone, then demanded $9 for the beers and went on his way. I wasn't expecting free drinks, but an apology or a towel to clean myself off would have been nice. Unfortunately after this experience I won't have anything nice to say about this place ever again.

We recently attended a rehearsal dinner which was held in the Tiki Bar...it was perfect for fifty people. Ann was so accommodating even fixing the grooms favorite foods which are not on her menu. If you need a venue for your next event the Lost Dog would be a great choice

Love love love the Lost Dog! Wonderful staff, excellent service and tasty food. Great outdoor patio as well. Even when they're busy, they run a smooth operation.

It could not be any easier to host an event here. We just had a party of over 70 people and it went off without the tiniest hitch. The Lost Dog owner, managers, and staff are amazing, the food was great, and the atmosphere was perfect. Love the new furniture! Thanks Lost Dog!

Love the staff, love the food, love the bar, love the patio! Do not overlook this restaurant, they take great care to make sure your visit is a positive one. The menu is huge and I have not had anything that wasn't really good. They have an awesome taco special on Saturdays that is highly recommended! Burger night Friday's are also a great deal! I do have 2 suggestions for the owner: 1) Make the patio non-smoking too! Diners enjoy the patio...until 2 or 3 smokers comes and stand right behind them while they are trying to eat. Not appetizing. And when the doors are open, the smoke blows right into the bar/restaurant. 2) Just an idea when finances allow: Put an additional bar in front and add roll up glass garage doors to make it open air in the summer. This would definately draw more people to the north end of downtown. Like your patio but adding the people watching potential of Main Avenue!

Great menu, great food, great service! A big surprise--I thought it was only a bar, until my sister and I went to lunch there after a friend recommended it. Definitely on my list of go to places to eat in Durango!

THE B E S T ! ! !

This is, without doubt, my FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN DURANGO ! ! The staff is nothing short of wonderful. The food is fresh made and excellent ! The beverage assortment is great ! The prices are a real value to the patrons ! When I meet visitors to Durango, I heartily recommend 'The Lost' Dog to them for atmosphere, staff who take excellent care of customers, food quality, and value for the money ! I'd gladly gave 'Lost Dog' a five out of five on the ratings page because they richly deserve it on many levels ! Kevin and Diane
