I have no complaints at all. They are fast, fresh, easy & some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I've tried most of them & love each one! Their parmesan bread is AWESOME.

Best lunch in Durango! Poppy's has HUGE sandwiches on home-made bread. I eat here at least once a week. Last time I tried the butternut squash soup and it was amazing. If you have never been to Poppy's, be sure to check it out. You will love it.

I enjoy Poppy's food, but they don't give back to the community, and that is a big problem- especially in a small town

I have been to Poppy's for lunch several times and the sandwiches have always been tasty. The bread is fantastic and the veggie selection is extensive and fresh. I tried breakfast on Monday (2/7/11). The cheese and egg breakfast sandwich was excellent. Fresh-made Poppy's multigrain bread. Eggs cooked on a griddle, not a microwave, melted swiss, plus free veggies (I just chose spinach - a little Florentine). The spinach was fresh and plenty of it. I shared it with my husband. If both of you were hungry it wouldn't feed two. But it is more than enough for one person. The price $5.00 (+tax). Great food. Good value. Check the Local Deals flyer for coupons.

I was super impressed with the quality ingredients, diverse array of choices, and value of Poppys sandwiches. I can say that it might seem a little 'pricey', but for the amount of food that you get it is a great value.

Wow, this business welcomes you with praise and enthusiasm. I was so impressed not only with how I was treated, but how the owner treated his staff. It was like we were all a family. They even welcomed feedback from me and were open to making any changes that I mentioned. For a woman who likes things the way I like them, this is my kind of restaurant!

This place is conveniently located downtown by the train station. They have a great selection of "gourmet" type sandwiches on fresh bread. They also have wonderful fresh made sides of cous-cous or pasta salad that accompany your sandwich. The prices are a bit steep, and there isn't a lot of seating inside, but it's definitely worth the trip. Best sandwiches in town.

Poppy's is probably my favorite lunch stop. It's the same owners as Nini's, another downtown favorite. Here you won't spend too much and get a great meal in your belly. I take my clients here when we are on the go. The average cost of a meal for one person here is under $10.00 and you don't have to wait long for your food. Personal favorite special item is the Smoky Dorchester. Yum! They make the bread on site and you have 3 breads to choose from. The cold sandwiches are okay but I prefer the hot sandwiches. There is usually a different side each day to keep things interesting. If I would recommend one improvement, I would say to work on the drink/self bussing station, it can be a bit confusing at times. Maybe more permanent signs would help for dirty or clean cups and forks.
