Keeping it local

I can't afford everything I would like, but the knowledgeable staff and general selection of native plants is always worth the visit. No pressure. One of the few places still selling old fashioned soil amendments, nice tools and accoutrements, and plants fairly priced for the quality you get.

Visited Native Roots yesterday, in fact, I drove in from the Bayfield area just to shop there. Plant selection was poor and plant quality was inferior. Services was on the same lever as the plants. Unless I was looking for a larger tree to purchase I am not sure that Native Roots is some place where I want to shop. Customer satisfaction seemed to not be high on the list of other shoppers, many were there with complaints on prior purchases and staff complaints. Such a shame that this business is not realizing that Durango needs them but they also need them to offer quality plants and great service.

How lucky we are to have Native Roots expand into their new location. The personnel is full of good answers; the grounds are full of inspiration and I, too love the produce out front in the summer. thank you.

I love coming in there, it's like a warm & colorful island and the air is thick with fragrant blossoms! The Happy Frog fertilizer is amazing, thank you for recommending it.

Native Roots - thank you for having such a great variety not too mention allowing the fruit and vegetable people to set up during the summer months. It's super convenient and fun to come by and pick up some beautiful plants and healthy food!
