Good Doctors Office
After having a major healtch scare and going to this clinic for my follow up I was greeted with great concern from Dr. Loftus. While he could have written off my concerns Dr. Loftus and the nurses at La Plata Family Medicine treated me with respect, care, and concern while doing fairly extensive tests to determine what kind of problem I was having. They follow up, call back, and it has never been hard to make an appointment. This is a quality Doctors office and I would reccomend it.

Beyond horrible
I made the mistake of ignoring the online comments about this practice. Big mistake. You are better off going to a public health clinic for care than this place. Horrible reputation, mean and nasty staff and inexperienced and arrogant Doctors. 'Nuff said,

As a young and healthy person I rarely have to see a doctor. However I do need medication for migranes. Have gone a few times and feel like I am getting treated like I am looking for drugs. When I call on the phone I am given the run around and never get an answer to my questions. The staff is also rude on the phone.

Dr. Piccaro is the best. I never cared about which doctor I saw until I met him. I highly recommend him. Not only is he knowledgeable, but he is kind and simply the smartest man I have ever met.

I had high regards for the physician but the office staff doesn't follow through with communications or return phone calls. The billing department demands payment on statements while refusing to offer assistance on what insurance providers have done.

Urgent care
If you need urgent care - forget it probibly not going to happen. However, Dr. Paccaro is your best bet for good service and does care.
