Long distance, we designed and built one of the most beautiful homes in La Plata county! His TEAM was proactive, professional and a pleasure to work with. Even well after a year since completion, they are extremely responsive to all our needs as we get settled into our award winning home.

We Trust Kogan
Our biggest challenge, being from out of town, was finding someone we could trust with our investment. Kogan Builders has a great reputation within the community as a custom builder with high standards for quality. After meeting Alix Kogan, there was no doubt in our minds he was the builder for us. Throughout the project, Alix and his crew never settled for second best, even when it wasn’t evident to us. Building a home can be stressful, but Kogan Builders took the worry out of our project. We have a beautiful home and I’m always amazed at the detailed craftsmanship in something as simple as a window sill. We have been very happy with Kogan Builders and still keep in touch when in town.

The best decision we made was Kogan
There were thousands of decisions to make when we designed and built our home. Now, after living in our home for about a year, we realize that the best decision we made was selecting Kogan Builders, Inc as our contractor. Alix and the crew at Kogan Builders listened to us explain what we wanted our home to be and helped us make informed decisions throughout each phase of the project. Simply put, they cared about us and cared about their work.

I admire "Kogan's" standards
I’ve been a building contractor for more than fifty years, and have learned to appreciate the difficulty in producing the quality of work that I constantly see in Alix Kogan’s projects. When a contractor is dealing with tight budgets and owners that “have” to get in their house by “my birthday”, etc.. it is tempting to relax standards. Alix finds a way to accomplish the goal and maintain the standards of skill, responsibility, and integrity. I admire his standards. – R.C. Harbourne

The process could not have been any smoother!
Since we lived out of state, communication was going to be critical and we found from the first call to Kogan that our concerns about communication could be put to rest. We had the best project manager anyone could ask for. He answered all of our questions, kept us constantly updated with photos and status emails and was proactive in looking for ways that we could save money without affecting the integrity of the project. The Kogan Team feels like part of our extended family. Thank you Kogan Builders! Mike and Evelyn

I did not initially think I could afford a Kogan home...
However, after looking at their range of design services and our mutual understanding of my vision for a lake-front mountain home, I couldn’t afford not to! As with every building project, there were some surprises and challenges. Nonetheless, the end result actually exceeded my expectations. My 2000 square foot home has a “big feel” to it and the house came in with a great appraisal because of the plan, design, and the quality of its features. – Jerry and Lizzie

Cares about ALL the details
When reviewing the sneak peak video or the homes in the Parade you will see that Kogan Builders really pays attention to all the details. Designing furniture and rooms that take in the views or create an atmosphere anyone would want to live in. I predict another great year for Kogan Builders.

High End Builder with Some Serious Quality
I am so impressed with Kogan Builders. The staff is professional, the workmanship is impeccable, and they really care about their customers. Also, Kogan Builders has a lot of variety of properties to choose from though they are pricey. But I'm sure the owner and pm's would work within a client's budget. In fact, I know they would and so if you want a quality home take the time to interview with Kogan Builders and find out what they can do for you.
