When we boarded our dog, Siba, she got diarrhea in the cage. LeeAnn went above and beyond and took Siba home with her for the remainder of her stay.

Where else in Durango provides such awesome goods and services tailored for our canine and feline friends? Did your dog take a roll in the mud? Guess what, HHFC provides a self serve dog wash. Feel bad about leaving her alone in the backyard while you work? Take her to doggy daycare, where she will never be bored. Leaving for a week long trip? Boarding is the answer, and HHFC provides that. Is she starting to get a bit shaggy? Sign her up for a grooming session with HHFC's master groomer! I bet she gets hungry as well. HHFC has the right food at the right price. Bottom line, there is not another shop like it in the four corners. Healthy Hounds truly does it right!

The folks at Healthy Hounds and Fat Cats love animals and it shows. I love my little dog more than words can say and he means everything to me. I don't like being away from him for even an afternoon but when I need to board him or put him in daycare, I know he will be safe and happy at Healthy Hounds. He is closely supervised and gets to go on walks and to the dog park. They take very good care of him and keep the small and large dogs apart so I feel comfortable knowing he won't be accidentally injured during play. When I am out of town, they are very happy to give me updates everyday. I love picking him up from daycare because I know when we get home, he will go right to sleep because he has been playing and enjoying himself all day. They also have a self-service dog wash, which is fantastic because you can go hiking and let your dog get all muddy and then just wash him there instead of getting mud all over your bathroom and then trying to use your own blow dryer and not being able to get your dog dry all the way.

Every time I am in to buy dog food, about twice a month, I am always greeted with a sincere hello. Always willing to help with any questions or concerns, their customer service right up there with anyone in town. Give this pet shop a try, you won't be disappointed.

A very friendly store to shop at here in town. Having 3 dogs, and 2 cats, it seems we are always in the market for something for our 4 legged family members. This store exemplifies the small town atmosphere that we love about Durango, staff is friendly, knowledgable and helpful. All the dogs at the day care seem to think so too, since they greet you as you enter. If you ever wondered who that was walking all the dogs down 160 to the dog park, that's one of the staff of the shop also. Where else does day care involve a jaunt to the dog park?
