Came into East By Southwest this past weekend and had an absolutely wonderful experience!! Our server was spot on... she did an awesome job and really knew the menu. We tried the squash blossoms for the first time and they were so delicious!! Can't wait till we get to go back!

Here's the deal: we were told when making reservation for 6:30 that we would be able to 'access' "early bird" pricing; but after waiting a good 15 minutes(more?)we were then told "prices switch automatically in computer"=sol.Place was packed and we then sat for another 15 minutes before getting water(!) or drink order or even a welcome of any kind. It was a Friday night=schedule more staff! Once food started coming, it came quickly though and water glasses were refilled; and most importantly, food was pretty good, with the exception of the lemon salmon roll= too much lemon/no other flavor. I have dined @ ESW/GT many times; and never feel like the waitstaff is very happy with their work; they seem almost annoyed to be waiting tables --and with parties of only 5, they get automatic percent!I will either be there early for "early bird," will never go with more than 4 people again, or I will not go at all!
