My son has had two dental visits with this dentist(the first two he has ever had), neither of which went well. He was a little bit anxious at first and after seeing the dentist the first time, and the dental assistant the second, he was inconsolable for about twenty minutes. They had me hold him down and kept trying to brush his teeth even after he started freaking out. At that point I had to leave. He just wasn't comfortable with them. I have no trouble brushing his teeth at home, so it surprised me that they had so much trouble. I understand that they have to at least try and get his teeth cleaned and looked at, but there is a line between trying and forcing which they definitely crossed.

Dr. Pinkerton rocks!!
This has been the best experience I have ever had with children. They are informative, caring, and most importantly they explain what they are going to the child in a manner that not only is understandable to them but places them at ease. I really think Dr. Pinkerton is the best!
