Great Food, Bad Service
Service is horrible EVERY time I have eaten here. That being said, I still eat here regularly because the food is delicious! The wings are tasty and I love the variety of flavors they have. Only because the chicken is so good do I still recommend this place. Just be prepared for slow service!

worst service ever
I was with a group of people who went into Cuckoos recently. The service was terribly slow. The waitress did not take away plates or glasses. I ended up piling the plates up on a chair to get them out of the way. At some point she began to ignore us as she walked by to other tables. They were out of wings, soup, chips and other items. When we tried to close our tab it took over one hour to pay. However we did notice she had time to take several cigarette breaks without checking on us before she left the restaurant. She consistently let our drinks go dry. My friends and I will not be going back to Cuckoos. Which is sad because we love the sauces.

I love Cuckoos and used to dine here a lot but every time I go there's never enough staff and they're always out of items. I have been on three different occasions that I can think of that they were out of fingers, then ranch, and last time thighs and lemon. These are mistakes you'd expect from a newly opened restaurant, not one that's been open for as long as cuckoos has been. Very disappointing as the food is very good.

You need to enter the chicken wing fest in Buffalo NY held on Labor Day weekend. I had the honey garlic wings and one in Buffalo does them like you. Excellent! Antonio, the waiter had a great personality.

GREAT WINGS!!!! We looked at the pictures and reviews and didn't know what to think. So off the referal of a good friend we decided to give it a go. If the food's not good, at least i can have a beer i thought. WOW!!!! Huge meaty wings. we tried 4 sauces, the chili lime, the real deal, the bayou barbeque, and the bumbleberry jalapeno. Amazing flavors!!!! i can't wait to come back and try the rest of the flavors. Sauce combinations that i wasn't willing to try suddenly sound delicous. Great atmosphere. tv's everywhere, good cold beer, friendly staff. i look forward to going back.

I have been going to Cuckoos for years, and I will admit that they are one of my favorite places to eat in Durango, if not my favorite. There is food is "usually" awesome and the atmosphere is great for games. The reason for three stars is because the service is not always the best. Employees are friendly but frequently forget things, and are slow are times. And what I mean by "usually" the food is awesome is honetsly I would not recommend calling in an order to go. The last three times I have called in a to go order there is always somethign missing, and it seems like no attention is paid to the food on to go orders. My last order of wings to go, had NO sauce on them like they were supposed to, and they forget the extra sides again that was ordered. I will continue to go to Cuckoos becuse the food is very good, but would not recommend calling in any orders.

If you are interested in this place, I would suggest on getting it to go. The service here is very slow and it takes a good while just to get anything.However!! I would say the food here is good and they have good flavors. They even have Mac and Cheese bites. Their chicken is also good!!

Take Parents to Cuckoos on the Cliff!! I am a big fan of Cuckoos. I love their wings and their selection of 20+ different flavors of wing sauce. YUMMY! I will never get tired of their wings. FYI: They have Chicken-n-waffles at this location as well other non- wing items. Recently I had dinner at the Tamarron location for the first time. It was awesome. The space is newly renovated and spacious. It’s decorated really cool with retro looking painting of Electra lake. It’s hard for me to accurately describe their art, but I highly recommend checking out. It’s subtle, but really hip. There are lots of big screen TV’s- a cuckoo’s tradition and a deck with an amazing view. It’s worth the drive up. If you are ever driving home from Silverton or DMR after a long day of sightseeing with the folk, STOP IN! You will not be disappointed.
