Conveniently located in historic downtown Durango, the Embassy was established in the summer of 2008 and has been a local favorite ever since. The pub is authentic Irish - every piece of furniture, every picture, every glass was shipped directly from Ireland. So if you’re wanting to take a trip to the Emerald Isle without leaving town, stop on by. Enjoy a 20-ounce Imperial Pint of Guinness, a tasty serving of our famous fish and chips, or listen to a traditional Irish jam session.

I have had "Fish and Chips" all over the world and this is the BEST ever. Top off lunch with a couple of pints of Smithwick's and it's a very good day!

Really good place

Best fries

Yeah, chips and crisps are the same thing. I can't describe the difference between fries and chips, but they're different, I think they're cut differently and either cooked with a different oil or at a different temperature.

Fries and chips aren't the same thing, they're closely related but different, sort of like yams and sweet potatoes. I might have to stop by the Embassy and do some investigating myself.
