What makes a great, quality cup of coffee or espresso drink?  It starts with the beans!

The Steaming Bean team is a dedicated band of coffee professionals bringing you 45 years' combined experience in coffee growing, importing, classifying and roasting to ensure you receive only the best quality beans roasted to perfection. 

Our roaster, located in Telluride, Colorado, employs a Northern German style of small batch roasting, carefully "smoking" and then air cooling the beans at the end of the roast.  This signature technique of ours allows the beans to "breath in" their own rich aroma recapturing much of the flavor and aroma released during roasting. 

Our quality/price combination is hard to beat! 

FAIR TRADE/ORGANIC COFFEES

Steaming Bean buys only the finest shade-grown and naturally sun-dried coffees.  Fair trade/organic coffee is always one of our daily brews.  We support the Rainforest Alliance's ECO-OK project and continue to support small farm coffee growers who are sensitive to the ecology of their regions.

CONSISTENT QUALITY AND SERVICE

We believe in delivering a quality specialty coffee drink or cup of joe every time.  Our baristas are highly trained in the nuances of pulling the perfect espresso shot, and steaming the creamiest milk for your drinks.  You won't be disappointed and if you are, bring your drink back for a new one or a refund.

We believe in supporting our local businesses as much as we possibly can.  It is important to support our local individually owned businesses to sustain not only our local economy but what makes Durango unique. 

Organic bagels, organic doughnuts, pastries, granola, sweet-breads, amazing fresh-fruit pies, and burritos are all made locally by other "Mom and Pop" shops and delivered fresh to our door daily.
