Marvelous May!
Normally April showers bring May flowers, However this spring April has not produced much in the way of showers, but May flowers are still springing up everywhere.
A lot happens in May in Durango. May 4-5 downtown hosts the Wine Experience and the same weekend we kick off our summer wine tasting with Fox Fire Farms here at the Durango Coffee Company. Wine tastings on Friday May 4, are FREE so come check out the tasty wines of Fox Fire Farms, La Plata County's only winery.
Throughout May we will also see lots activities, starting with many soccer players the weekend of May 12 & 13th for the Durango Soccer Shootout, always a great event that brings lots of pople to Durango. May 12th is the start of the Farmers Market and May 13th is Mothers Day. Don't forget to stop by our shop for some great gift ideas for your Mom!
May also brings us Memorial Day weekend with oodles of Iron Horse Bicyclists and this year there will also be a babseball tournament that weekend at the Fairgrounds. So much to do in May here in Durango and summer hasn't even started yet! Please stop by the Durango Coffee Company coffee shop to enjoy great drink specials and peruse our Mother's Day gift items!
