A Secret Place......The Art Center

If you have not taken time to walk up the street to the Art Center this Holiday Season you are really missing out. I am a Docent at the Art Center. My work takes place in the schools where we bring art education to students at no cost to the School District. Yesterday I needed to get supplies for a class and stopped by the Art Center to load up for 21 students at the Boys and Girls Club. 

I had time to walk around the Holiday Displays in the Center. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of  items for sale in the Gallery. Jewelry,fabric creations,every conceivable form of art at some of the most reasonable prices I have seen in town. A gift from a  local artist has so much more meaning and value than something made in China. 

Please stop by and support the center and your local artists. You will be glad you did. It is open Tuesday through Saturday with extended hours. The Art Center is truely a hidden gem this season. Get the word out. Great buys at the Art Center.
