Welcome Karen Glascock CMT

Advantage Physical Therapy & Wellness is proud to announce the hire of Karen Glascock, CMT. Karen grew up in southern California and moved to Durango in 1979 to attend Fort Lewis College.  She graduated with a BA in Psychology in 1982 and decided to make Durango her home. After working for many years as a river guide both in Durango and Alaska she made the choice to get into the health field. She attended the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics in Albuquerque, NM and graduated in 1990 with a certificate as a Natural Therapeutic Specialist and Massage Therapist. Karen has a passion for the outdoors and is an avid hiker, telemark skier, and whitewater rafter. Her love of animals led her to get her canine massage therapy certificate from the RMSAAM School in Denver in 2011. Karen has owned and operated her massage practice in Durango for 23 years and she combines many different techniques to offer pain relief, injury relief, relaxation and an overall quality massage experience.
