HotSlings Company Closes Thier Doors

The well known, and well loved company, HotSlings Inc, makers of Infant Carriers for over 7 years, has decided to close their doors.  In a letter sent to us retailers they sited several factors that they say, "created the perfect storm."  These factors were the recession, a bad supplier that caused a 9 months delay in receiving their products, which cost them over half a million dollars in sales, and the recent CPSC wanrings and a recall of a DIFFERENT baby sling brand, was just more than they could afford.

There are new CPSC recommendations for Sling type carriers, specifically the proper way to position your child in the sling, along with a recommendation that you not use a sling style carrier with an infant 4 months of age or younger.  You can find these recommendations by visiting here.

We will miss the great folks at HotSlings...they were really easy to work with, always helpful with providing us with up to date information for our parent customers, and showing us exactly how to use the New Adjustable Slings that would allow a tiny mom and great big dad to share the same sling.

Because we don't carry products in our store that we have no ability of replacing as stock is sold...we are clearancing out our inventory of HotSlings.  You can purchase them in our Online Store for 30% off of the original retail price.

Farewell HotSlings Inc.  We do hope that someone else will purchase the line and continue with it in the future.
